The smallest details can derail a whole design, sometimes. A little sliver of stainless metal peeking out between bathroom drawers might just be enough to take away from your quirky-colorful look. Maybe not totally. It is just a small sliver, after all. But if you have a bit of something peeking out where you don't want it to, and the the fix is just as easy as a roll of colorful tape? Why not do it?
