There’s no doubt that a homemade cake makes any occasion that much more festive, but this darling DIY topper takes the cake when it comes to celebrating in style. Try out our step-by-step instructions below, but first, make sure to take a peek at the quick video, to see how easy it really is to make “forever” yours.
- Acetate Sheet
- Exacto Knife
- Sharpie
- Foam Brush
- Transparent Glass Paint
- Scissors
- “Forever” Template (found here!)
Place the acetate sheet over the template, then trace the template with the Sharpie.
Cut out the word shape with scissors.
Use an Exacto knife to cut out any small areas.
Once fully cut, peel the liner off.
Place the word face down on a flat surface and cover the back of the word in a thick coat of glass paint.
Let the paint dry for 1 hour.
Gently press the topper into your cake, et voila!
