Q: The Murphy bed seems the most comfortable of the options but the bed, one way or another, does occupy an entire wall (and don't they sometimes get stuck in strange positions?). The pullout sofa bed approach has drawbacks, too, but is a cheaper option and could be replaced more easily than a Murphy bed. A loft bed is lovely until old age or a broken ankle strikes. I once knew a woman who slept on her recliner but that seems peculiar... -Sent by Sunny
