Jurassic World – This summer hit just shattered the box office record for an opening weekend (June 12, 2015), bringing in $208.8M in revenue. The movie tells the story of Jurassic World, a luxury resort located off the coast of Costa Rica that provides a habitat for a variety of genetically engineered dinosaurs. When the Indominus Rex escapes captivity, it sets off a chain reaction that sends the resort spiraling out of control. Starring: Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard

Inside Out – Pixar’s debut of Inside Out takes place June 19th, 2015 nationwide. When a happy 11-year-old girl moves from the midwest to San Francisco, her emotions must guide her through the difficult changes. Mad Max: Fury Road – George Miller’s film brings the Mad Max franchise back for the first time in 30 years. In an apocalyptic world following nuclear war, civilization ceases to exist. Max, a survivor, is captured by a tyrannical ruler and thrown into a world of chaos as he attempts to outrun the warlord and his army in a deadly chase through the wasteland. Avengers: Age of Ultron – The last installment in the Avengers series was released May 1, 2015, receiving much critical praise and grossing more than $187 million. Tony Stark’s peacekeeping program fails, ultimately forcing the Avengers to reassemble in order to protect humanity from Ultron, a terrible technological foe dedicated to the mission for human extinction. Pitch Perfect 2– Released May 15, 2015, Pitch Perfect 2 finds the Barden Bellas three years after their national title victory. A ruined performance results in controversy, stripping the team of their performing duties and causing tension and turmoil within the group. The women look to the upcoming world championships for their shot at both a world title, and redemption. To date, the movie has grossed over $260 million, while the first installment of Pitch Perfect grossed less than $116 million. Hooray for sequels! Max– The director of Remember the Titans and producer of Marley & Me collaborated on this – so we know it’s going to be a tear jerker! Max is expected to be one of the summer’s biggest hits. To be released on June 26, 2015, the film tells the story of Max, a trained military dog serving in Afghanistan alongside Marine Kyle Wincott, his handler. After Kyle suffers a traumatic wound, Max is unable to remain in service and is adopted by the Wincott family where he begins a remarkable adventure with Kyle’s younger brother, Josh.
